We will host an annual showcase of research, outreach, extension, and the arts to be held during National Invasive Species Awareness Week co-hosted with the Town of Blacksburg. This event is designed to highlight the outstanding work ongoing at VT while also building community and engagement with the public. This will be our signature event to highlight research and scholarship, partnerships, and community engagement that is accessible to and will involve the public. We envision this event to begin with a half-day of research presentations and posters followed by a community event of workshops, art shows, and invasive species-inspired cuisine.
