Wooden manages the Virginia Tech Insect Identification Lab (VTIIL), identifying invasive species and providing guidance to Extension agents, professionals, and the public. Wooden also coordinates the “Museums in Miniature” project, which supplies native and invasive insect specimens to schools and libraries for educational use.
